This work about industry and environment is a documentation of an abandoned cement factory on Vancouver Island. The Associated Cement Company plant was built in Bamberton in 1912. The town was owned by the cement company and occupied by the plant, its employees and their families until the cement plant closed in 1980. I was fortunate to be able to explore and document the site.
